One thing that is endless around my house is laundry. I have tried all kinds of schedules and methods to make the chore less demanding.

One thing that is working for me now is trying to only do laundry twice each week. I try to wash clothes on Wednesday night after work and then do another set of laundry on Saturday mornings. Wednesday is work clothes and whites, then Saturday is casual clothes and towels and sheets.

The laundry detergent I have been using is getting really expensive, but it is still close in price to all the other brands. I think there are only a couple of companies that make laundry detergent anymore. The people who make Tide probably have the biggest share of that market. I have used Tide but then the clothes made me itchy, so I figure that I might be allergic to something in the Tide formula.

I don’t really like the smell of Gain detergent. It is pretty strong and just not a fragrance that appeals to me. So I have been avoiding Tide and Gain and trying to use either All or Cheer. The All brand seems to do a good job cleaning the clothes and the fragrance is pretty mild. I just have to watch for it to go on sale or find coupons to get a deal on it and then I stock up.
